How we started
Susan and Laura have been friends for over 20 years. They have worked together as well as raising their families together. As the kids have grown and had less pressing needs, they started to talk about the "next chapter." They both have tons of energy and a serious love of fashion. From casual conversations, Edit & Elevate was born. They both saw a strong need to help women find their love of dressing. So many of their friends call getting dressed a chore. Susan and Laura want to help women rediscover the joy of getting dressed.

Laura Kay
Founder
Laura's been involved in both the corporate and retail side of fashion for over 30 years. A Wake Forest graduate, Laura and her husband Jim, have raised 3 incredible sons and are now empty nesters. Laura especially loves the creative side of the business...reimagining different ways to wear the same items you already have in your closet. Her philosophy is "fashion should be fun, not a stressful part of your life."
Susan Adkins
Founder
Susan has been in the fashion world for over 30 years from both the corporate perspective as well as the everyday retail floor. She is a wife of 25 years and has 2 grown kids, Kate and Jack. Susan loves the whole styling experience and brings a positive, energetic vibe to the whole experience.
